Water is the best way to quench your thirst.
You can drink water from a water bottle, a pond, a well or a water pump. You cannot drink from the ocean.
- Drinking from an Unboiled Water Bottle has a 30% chance of infection.
- Boiled Water Bottles are generally safe. It’s never happened to me, but others have claimed there is a chance you can get infected from boiled water.
- Ponds without dead bodies (listen for the flies) are mostly safe, with a 3% chance of infection.
- Wells and pumps are mostly safe,with a 3% chance of infection.
